You don't need an account to use Tailoring NYC, and we don't collect your personal details through the site. To see how many people visit, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and doesn't track you between sites.

Using "near me"

When you choose "near me", your browser asks whether to share your location. The site uses it on your device to put the closest shops first. We never receive it or save it.

What stays on your device

Your choice of light or dark mode is saved in your browser so the site remembers it next time. We store nothing else there.

Shop information

Each listing shows details a shop makes public: its name, address, phone number, rating and hours. We don't publish the personal information of owners or staff.

If you email us

We use your email address to answer you and for nothing else. It isn't shared, and you won't be signed up to any mailing list.

Updating or removing a shop

To change or delete a listing, write to contact@tailoringnyc.com. We usually complete requests within a few days.

Younger visitors

The site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly gather information from them.

Updates to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we'll revise this page and its date.
